We are looking for Depot Controller for Saudi ArabiaJob Summary The job holder is to supervise and control all train movements within the Depot area to support the scheduled timetable and to ensure the safety of train operations for the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro railway Responsibilities:Supervise and control the train movement in the depot by utilizing various computerized tools to ensure trains adhere to predetermined schedules, monitor the movement of trains on the control console, assess delays and implement measures to rectify the situations, avoid trains bunching up and to ensure the safety of operations Liaise with Operations Planning Manager, Traffic Controller and Passenger Services Manager to ensure availability of train and train crew to cater for unexpected events Report incidents or events that impact on safety and/or service performance to the Chief Controller in a timely manner Coordinate service start-up, shut-down with the Traffic Controller, Chief Controller, Rolling Stock & Depot Manager and Passenger Services Manager Inform the Chief Controller of any vehicle problems and other operational deviations Monitor the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system in the depot areas Monitor the signalling, communication and power supply system?s performance via the SCADA system Plan track access arrangements for non-traffic hours (Track Possession/Access Management Duties) within the depot area Issue permits to work/permits to Access (Depot) Monitor and facilitate engineering works Monitor and control the test track Identify corrective maintenance requirements and urgent fault reporting Perform shift and emergency duties when required Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the Deputy Rolling Stock & Depot Manager, Chief Controller and other senior department staff
