Job Description

About The RoleTo achieve agreed sales, productivity and performance targets within a given territory.Major accountabilities:

  • To meet or exceed sales targets (market share/market share growth) within agreed budgets and timescales.
  • To engage with multi-disciplinary teams in key accounts & facilitate the necessary communications that support center onboarding to Novartis Advanced Therapies especially RLTs & RLIs including future launches.
  • To demonstrate advanced levels of scientific knowledge of disease & products within the therapeutic areas of the franchise.
  • Follow up on ordered doses until delivery and administration.
  • Master excellent communication skills to engage with key scientific leaders & decision makers in key accounts to facilitate access, referral, protocols & adoption of Novartis advanced therapeutics.
  • Gain insights relevant to the business & therapy areas & timely communicate these insights internally within the cross-functional teams.
  • To achieve agreed contact, coverage, and frequency targets through face to face and meetings and deliver agreed customer centric activities within operating budget.
  • To promote defined Novartis products according to campaign briefs and policies.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • To ensure outstanding personal and team knowledge, and understanding of Novartis priority products, technical information, product strategy, positioning, key messages, and programs.
  • Effective administration of territory business including, maintenance of high-quality record systems, daily communication with administrative systems and timely processing of territory business expenses (AV and personal).

  • Degree educated in pharmacy OR Life science degree,
  • Paramedic/nursing qualification, country relevant medical sales accreditation
Experience:
  • Proven, successful selling track record.
  • Minimum 1- 2 years in pharma environment.
  • Oncology background is a plus.
  • Knowledge of pharma industry and its changing environment
  • Demonstrable high achievement in same or other relevant fields
