Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aimed at securing new projects and expanding the company?s presence in the Saudi Arabian construction market.
  • Identify key market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in the construction sector, both public and private.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value projects, including large infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Establish long-term business relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, developers, architects, consultants, and other decision-makers in the industry.
  1. Market Expansion:
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and competitive trends in the Saudi Arabian construction market.
  • Leverage knowledge of the local market to expand the company?s reach and drive business into new geographic or sectoral areas.
  • Develop partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures that can open doors for new business opportunities and enhance the company?s reputation.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Manage the negotiation and closing of contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company while maintaining strong client relationships.
  1. Proposal & Bid Management:
  • Oversee the preparation of high-quality proposals and bid submissions in response to tenders and project opportunities.
  • Work closely with the project management, technical, and commercial teams to ensure that proposals meet client requirements and are competitive in the market.
  • Ensure that all bids are compliant with regulatory requirements and that the company?s interests are safeguarded.
  1. Brand Positioning & Marketing:
  • Develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy that positions the company as a leading player in the Saudi construction industry.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance the company?s visibility and network with potential clients and partners.
  • Lead efforts to enhance the company?s brand, leveraging relationships and market knowledge to increase its market share.
  1. Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead and manage the business development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve team and company objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and performance excellence within the team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development goals with the company?s overall growth strategy.
  1. Market Intelligence & Reporting:
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management regarding market trends, new business opportunities, and progress on key initiatives.
  • Analyze competitors, track market activity, and stay up-to-date on legislative changes or new regulations impacting the construction industry in Saudi Arabia.
  1. Contract Management & Negotiation:
  • Lead negotiations for major contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company while meeting client requirements.
  • Oversee the contract execution process to ensure smooth transitions from business development to project delivery.
