Qualifications:? Trade Course Graduate? Minimum 3 years experienceTask Description:? Perform routine repair and preventive maintenance work Saudia Catering allocated High loaders used and operating in ramp areas of the airport? Perform preventive maintenance as per schedules and the repair of high loaders and vehicles for efficient running condition and standards of serviceability? Check and replace worn out mechanical component such as gearbox, assembly, suspension, brakes, etc. or any part doubted to be source of future breakdown while a vehicle is sent to the workshop for preventive maintenance? Thorough check of engine, brake, suspension system, body framework, steering system, gearbox, hydraulic cylinders and hose accessories, water and vacuum pumps, etc. while any of the vehicles is on a corrective maintenance in the workshop and generate Material request should a part or material is required.? Diagnose mechanical malfunctions as reported review its cause and make decision on what is the first appropriate corrective action to be carried out.? Respond to call out as and when required by Superiors? Report to the Senior Technician any pending spare parts / material requirement for hois follow up with Purchasing or Technical Store? Respond to very high priority job such as breakdown of vehicles whilst in ramp operation i.e servicing and stuck on an aircraft or stranded on aircraft ways / runways? Diagnose malfunctions of a vehicle review its cause and make decision on what is the first appropriate step to carry out repair works? Ensure proper utilization of tools and equipment while working on the workshop and other working areas (i.e. breakdown scene)? Follow up with Supervisor or in cooperation with Purchasing Department or Technical Store any spare parts or material purchasing requirement? Generate and maintain stocks of common materials and spare parts (i.e. oils, grease, spark plugs, etc) but emphasize cost reduction programme and store at the minimal level? Maintain and monitor high standard of cleaning and sanitation in the office and workshops as well as in the working areas by proper disposal of used materials scrapped mechanical or electrical parts? Maintain and arrange storage areas of tires new or surplus mechanical or electrical parts, common materials tools / equipment to a system that would provide accessibility for withdrawal? Ensure overall compliance and implement duly established company policies and procedures to and among staff is an industrial safety practice in the workshop and working areas agronomics of work flow by proper utilisation of signs (i.e. sorry for the inconvenience / under repair / awaiting spare parts, etc)? Submission of daily report concerning daily achievement
