Job Description

  • Examine patients teeth, gums, and related tissues using diagnostic tools and X-rays to determine the nature and extent of dental disease or injury.
  • Develop and execute treatment plans to prevent and/or correct dental problems, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and methods for maintaining healthy teeth and gums.
  • Administer anesthetics to numb areas of the mouth in preparation for dental procedures.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress.
  • Coordinate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide quality patient care.
  • Manage and supervise the dental office, including ordering supplies and equipment, hiring and training staff, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with new dental techniques and technologies by attending continuing education courses and seminars
