Our team of over 400 engineers and developers are empowered to develop cutting-edge technology every day.Careem was established in July 2012, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Uber Technologies, Inc. in January 2020, and today operates in over 100 cities across 12 countries.About the teamThe Territory Management team that falls under the Account Management Team in Careems Food vertical plays a key role in working closely with food partners within priority districts / areas in our various geographies to develop sales, marketing activities and work on improving customer / experience metrics as well as identifying locally-relevant growth opportunities that Careem can leverage.What youll do

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and put concentrated efforts to drive and impact Careem?s GMV and order growth positively within dedicated territory through locally-relevant activations and demand-building initiatives
  • Develop territory-based insights on a zone by zone level to determine key marketing / demand-driving / brand-building opportunities to strengthen Careem?s consumer-facing positioning and local relevance
  • Highlight brand acquisition opportunities and coordinate with sales function to highlight said opportunities in up and coming zones or hip / popular brands that have a local affinity with customers that would strengthen Careem?s brand selection and partner density
  • Roll-out Careem blanket campaigns / activities with select partner base in assigned territory as well as best-fit activities by brand to positively impact PV % from GMV
  • Maintain and enhance overall Partner Engagement within zone by ensuring Engaged Brands / Outlets % across managed territory and identifying potential problematic brands and proactively taking steps to drive orders towards them
  • Serve as a Careem ambassador to Key Accounts within assigned territory and ensure end to end management of the relationship encompassing operational challenges & business development opportunities across Careem?s verticals
  • Serve as a core insight generator for assigned territory & zones from a partner, customer, zonal dynamics & industry perspective and ensuring these insights are highlighted and shared in a timely manner to concerned stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Partners and Partner Ops. Team to maximize operational efficiencies with problematic merchants and maintain a positive outlook on experience metrics (Rescued Orders %, Low Rated Orders & Wait Time at Outlet)
  • Provide constant coaching and guidance to the team on Careem?s ethics, values & their relevance towards their day to day tasks
  • Support in rolling out team development activities and initiatives that support technical, business & personal skills growth
  • Ensure timely communication of zonal targets by Account Manager on all concerned metrics as well as reporting of daily, weekly & monthly performance trends and monthly achievements
  • Co-visiting partners with team to provide in-call coaching and guidance to enhance business development approach towards partners and to aid opportunity identification and issue relay process
What youll need
  • Minimum 3 years of working experiences within Account Management
  • Food or Retail background is preferred
  • Location must be in Riyadh
