Technical ManagerJob Location : RiyadhJob Summary :?Technical Manager is responsible for the technical coordination between the Design Consultant, Project Management Team, and the Subcontractors of various trades.?He should be able to review the design drawings prepared by the Design Consultants to ensure workability and cost-efficiency.?Technical Manager oversees a team of Design Engineers and Draughtsmen responsible for preparing detailed Shop drawings/ fabrication drawings required during project construction.?He also reviews the Shop Drawings prepared by Subcontractors and ensures that they comply with the Specifications and Quality requirements of the projects before submitting the same to Design Consultants for approval.?He also provides the required Technical Details to Commercial and Project Management Teams, assisting them in securing the most competitive Bids for various packages.Responsibilities:? Technical Coordination between Design Consultants and Estimation Team? Technical Coordination between Design Consultants and Commercial Team? Technical Coordination between Design Consultants and Project Management Team.? Review of Design Drawings to ensure workability and cost-efficiency.? Review of Design Drawings received from the Design Consultants to ensure the design integrity and safety.? Review of Technical Submittals received from Subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality requirements and specifications.? Oversee the preparation of Shop Drawings and Fabrication drawings during the execution of projects.? Review shop drawings prepared by Subcontractors to ensure compliance with Project specifications and Quality standards.? Provide required details and technical clarifications required during Tendering and Estimation of projects.? Assist the Commercial and Project Management Teams by providing technical clarifications during the execution of Projects.Qualification Required:?Masters Degree in Structural Design, familiar with the latest Design software such as AutoCAD, BIM, STAAD PRO, etc. He should be well versed in Microsoft Office .?Ability to communicate in Arabic and English will be an advantage.?Experience: Minimum of 15 Years of experience in the Design of Commercial Buildings and Mixed Use Developments, out of which 5 years in a Managerial position in a Construction Company / Design Consultancy Firm.
