SummaryStrategically plans, organizes, directs, manages and develops integrated processes to manage Supply Chain Resources (SCR) to achieve better overall utilization with the aim to support the delivering of growth and financial performance of the Supply Chain Management (SCM).Essential Responsibilities and Duties1.Participates in the development of long-term strategy and vision planning for SCM. Responsible for developing strategies and alternatives to achieve service and cost effective operations.2.Reviews business, industry, and consumer environment in a strategic way to anticipate and plan for the future. Identifies the focus and defines where to perform, how to success and what capabilities and management systems are required.3.Embraces and initiates change, distinguishes what to preserve and what to change. Initiates and leads the changes that drive success.4.Drives cross-functional collaboration to enable holistic buying decisions while leveraging SCM scale to influence and reduce overall cost of goods by partnering with SCM functions and its stakeholders to improve influence.5.Aligns and drives business results and SCM key performance indicator (e.g., handling cost, improvement in network utilization, total cost to serve analysis).6.Develops and implements customer service and financial goals and objectives consistent with the Hospital strategic plans and goals. Interacts with service lines provided to understand customer requirements for integration to the development of new business processes or practices.7.Leverages the SCM optimization tool suite to proactively provide SCM consulting services and solutions.8.Utilizes a suite of analytical tools to provide current business diagnostics, SCM decision support, cost mitigation strategies, and opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation by assessing and analyzing historical, current, and future SCM optimization initiatives. Reviews and analyzes internal processes to highlight opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies.9.Participates in the organization-wide committees, working groups, and task force to establish or improve customer service and related policies and procedures as assigned.10.Builds collaborative relationships and promotes the inclusion of diverse knowledge, skills, and experiences to achieve results.11.Follows all Hospital policies and procedures.12.Participates in self and others education, training and development as applicable.13.Performs other related duties as assigned.EducationPhD, Master s or Bachelor s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Hospital/Business/Public Administration or other related discipline is required.Experience RequiredEight (8) years with PhD, ten (10) years with Master s or twelve (12) years with Bachelor s Degree of related experience in a hospital, government institution, business corporation or related organization, including five (5) years in a supervisory or managerial position is required.Other Requirements(Certificates)*Project Management Professional certificate is preferred.*Additional background in Hospital Administration or Information Technology is preferred.
