Employment: Full Time Sous Chef up to 8k Sar for High-End Casual Dining Restaurant in Riyadh, KSAPlans the activities of and schedules all food production and food service sanitation employees to maximize productivity while minimizing labor costs to achieve and improve upon budgetary guidelines Manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimizes waste, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concernsHires, disciplines, and when necessary, recommends termination of food production and food service sanitation employees according to venue guidelines and policies Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assuranceProvides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish platingCoordinates with restaurant management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffingSupervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standardsWorks with head chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunitiesVerifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managedKeeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hoursAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsOversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredientsLeads kitchen team in chefs absenceAssists head chef with menu creation REQUIREMENTS: POSITION: Sous ChefSALARY: up to 8,000 SAR or 2,100 USD plus accommodation and transportation depending on qualificationsHIRING COMPANY: Casual Dining RestaurantWORK LOCATION: Riyadh, KSAAVAILABILITY: Immediately available or 1 month maximumEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full timeCANDIDATE PROFILE:Open to any nationalityMale, 45 years old and belowQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors Degree in Culinary Arts or any related certificate is a mustWith at least 3 years working experience as a Sous Chef/Assistant ChefExperience for a high-end stand-alone restaurant is an added advantageDetail-oriented and with strong supervisory skillsAn excellent team playerHas excellent communication and interpersonal skills
