Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will assume an active managerial role from the first day on:Service OfferingAs a Senior Manager, you will have a senior team role in delivering on mandates. The practice focuses on key closely-related service offerings:Infrastructure planning and transaction strategy - Helping clients determine various infrastructure and transaction scenarios (PPP, JV, outsource, long- term contracts) to best deliver value and service.(Lead) Financial advisory - Evaluating financing needs, structures and sources or directly assisting in the raising of capital.Procurement - Transaction advisory - Assisting clients in developing and evaluating options related to long-term performance- based contacts. These contracts can run into multiple billion dollar commitments.Project risk advisory -Assisting clients understand and quantify the various risks associated with a large project, including market, construction, procurement, labour, and currency.Contract implementation support Supporting the successful implementation and delivery of infrastructure projects during or after the financial closing.Practice DevelopmentYou are expected to:Manage experienced teams in our practice and work collaboratively with other competencies and lines of service as well as with other offices across the Kingdom and the Globe in project executionWork closely with Managers, Directors and PartnersTrain and mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall skills enhancement and experience of the sector to build and develop a high-quality teamManage clients proactively, making client service a main priority and culture of the practiceBusiness DevelopmentYou will support the development of our infrastructure engagements by:Supporting business development regionally and nationally in both public and private sector marketsActively participating in the responding to Requests for Proposal for advisory mandates on infrastructurePositioning the team and the KPMG s profile in the marketplace and develop business through industry involvement, contribution to publications, and presentation at conferences and industry eventsYour profile in SummaryPrevious experience advising on infrastructure projects (public or private sector) will be highly requiredExperience in financial, commercial and/or strategic advice including procurement options assessment, financial modelling, and analysis, preparation of commercial principles and input to contract documentation, development of market engagement/tender strategies and tender documentation, bid evaluation and negotiation advice.Comfortable working within a project team environment, producing high-quality deliverables, coaching, managing and motivating teamsAbility to contribute to business developmentKey requirements - what you bring to the role in details:To be able to realize this growth in revenue and staffing, KPMG requires an individual who meets a very specific profile. This individual must have and/or be able to demonstrate:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or other respective fields with proven analytical direction, from a well-known university.MBA or Master s degree in Finance or other related fields, from a distinguished institute.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is mandatory, fluency Arabic would be a strong plus.Minimum of 5 years specialized (post MBA/MSc) experience in financial analysis and structuring of infrastructure transactions and project financing, in the public and private sectors. This includes experience in investment and advisory on major infrastructure capital projects as well as leading on business case planning, procurement methodology, and financial strategy expertise.Experience working on bid teams or for the public sector on Public-Private Partnerships (DB, EPC, BOT to DBFOT) and privatizations and assessing project or bids for awarding respective project agreements.Proven experience in the development of transaction documents (Information Memorandum, RFQ, RFP) and contracts and on commercial closing support.Experience on building valuations project finance models, performing due diligence on portfolio assets and leading team presentations.A history of PPP transactions with the demonstrated ability to deliver and close deals in either Transportation or Healthcare and in at least one or more of the following sectors:Social Infrastructure (Education, Waste), Utilities (Water, Power & Renewables, Gas), Telecoms, Government.Experience negotiating the terms of infrastructure contracts and financing structures.Significant experience in finance raising and commercial negotiations on projects requiring large amounts of funds from sources including government bodies, financial institutions, development banks and infrastructure funds.Excellent project management skills demonstrated with experiences managing individual and multidisciplinary teams on the full lifecycle activities of complex infrastructure asset projects.Ability to drive business development including through competitive proposals.Experience with a Big 4 financial advisory, a Strategy Consulting firm or a similar role in Investment advisory, banking or construction industry is an asset.Personal CharacteristicsDiagnostic, strong problem solving and transaction skills.Strong communication and presentation skills demonstrated in working with senior stakeholders in government, financial institutions and the private sector.The drive and interest to meet the demands of a growing market and manage multiple priorities.The ability and willingness to work collaboratively within the Firm across lines of service.
