Job Description

Robert Walters Middle East is currently working with a leading aviation & aerospace organisation. They are seeking to hire a Senior Internal Audit Manager to join their team. This role is based in Riyadh, KSA.Duties:

  • Develop and implement a risk-based internal audit plan that aligns with the companys strategic objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and supervise a team of internal auditors, including managing performance, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a positive team culture
  • Conduct and oversee complex audit engagements, including risk assessments, planning, fieldwork, and reporting, and ensure that audit work is performed in accordance with professional standards.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management, and collaborate with management to develop action plans to address identified issues
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory requirements and advise management on emerging risks and best practices in internal audit
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including management, external auditors, and regulators
  • Manage the departments budget and resources, and report on the departments performance and achievements to senior management and the board
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
  • Professional qualification is preferred (CIA, CPA)
  • Big 4 experience is advantageous
  • Minimum 6 years of experience within the audit function
  • This position is only open to candidates based in Saudi Arabia
  • Demonstrated knowledge of internal audit standards, principles, and practices, as well as a strong understanding of risk management concepts.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
