Job Description

Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead the overall MEP project strategy from pre-contract through completion and handoverEstablish project governance structures, execution plans, and performance benchmarksProvide directions to Project Managers, Construction Managers, and engineering teamsEnsure alignment between project objectives and organizational goalsOversee the successful execution of MEP works in accordance with contract scope, schedule, and budgetMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, cost, and progressEnsure effective integration of MEP works with civil, architectural, and specialist systemsIntervene at critical stages to resolve high-level technical, contractual, or commercial issuesMaintain overall responsibility for MEP project budgets, cash flow, and profitabilityApprove variations, claims, and change management strategiesLead contract negotiations with clients, consultants, vendors, and major subcontractorsManage risk registers and ensure proactive mitigation of commercial and contractual risksAct as the primary senior point of contact for clients, consultants, and key stakeholdersBuild long-term client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfactionRepresent the company in executive meetings, progress reviews, and negotiationsEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and regulatory requirementsOversee quality assurance systems, audits, testing, commissioning, and final handoverLead, mentor, and develop senior MEP leadership and project teamsEnsure optimal allocation of manpower, technical resources, and specialist expertiseSupport succession planning and talent development within the MEP functionReview and approve master schedules, procurement strategies, and commissioning plansOversee risk management, value engineering, and constructability reviewsProvide accurate executive-level reporting to senior management and board-level stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and best practicesDesired Candidate ProfileBachelor?s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringMinimum of 20 years of experience in large-scale MEP project deliveryExperience delivering complex projects such as high-rise buildings, hotels, hospitals, airports.Displays exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate diverse teams.Demonstrates strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting capabilities.Exhibits excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and vendors.
