Our client is looking to recruit a Principal Environmental Consultant based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Our client was established in 2002 and today it offers environmental services to a variety of clients from sectors such as pharmaceutical, finance, legal, Insurance, oil and gas, construction and waste management.We are looking for an individual who has a track record of winning work and wants to work in a dynamic and professional working environment, committed to helping develop the growth of the business within both new and existing markets and technical disciplines.Typical Duties & Responsibilities:? Project manage the delivery of land assessments and environmental monitoring projects? Recruit and line manage a team of environmental consultants? Undertake business development activities and prepare tender documents? Ensure that new and existing business is maintained through client liaison? Attend monthly project and workload review meetingsDesired Skills and Experience:? Relevant Science or Engineering degree? Membership/Chartered Status with a relevant professional body/institute? At least five years relevant experience in Environmental Consultancy? Previous experience working in GCC region? Have a good working knowledge and experience of implementing relevant GCC and International legislation relating to environmental compliance and management of contaminated land? Ambitious and a drive to succeed? Strong organisational skills? Be a strong team player, but it is essential that the candidate is self-motivated? Must be flexible to travel? Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with people at all levelsYou will need to have a detailed understanding of the work, so you will therefore have significant direct environmental consultancy experience.
