Nagadi Group of FactoriesJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Logistics Officer to oversee and optimize the efficient movement of our reinforced concrete and GRP products from production to the customer. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record in logistics management within the manufacturing industry.Responsibilities:

  • Transportation Planning and Coordination:
  • Develop and implement efficient transportation plans for raw materials, finished products, and internal transfers.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation providers.
  • Track shipments, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve transportation-related issues.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
  • Optimize inventory levels to meet production and customer demands while minimizing costs.
  • Coordinate with the production department to ensure timely supply of materials.
  • Warehouse Management:
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Implement effective warehouse layout and organization.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage.
  • Supply Chain Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics processes.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance.
  • Customs and Documentation:
  • Experience in Preparing and processing import/export documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and requirements.
  • Manage relationships with customs authorities.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential logistics risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage insurance claims related to transportation and inventory losses.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation modes (road, sea, air).
  • Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic and in English.
