Design innovative built environments including residential, retail, offices, mixed-use, mobile pavilions.
Coordinate all trades throughout the design and construction process.
To prepare, and develop with the team where required, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design.
To co-ordinate the internal design team for the project.
To take responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from the Architectural Design Director for key project stages.
Survey building interiors.
Advise on the selection of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment, color palettes, and lighting; Work directly with furniture dealers, consultants, fabricators, and product representatives.
Iterate designs independently and with the direction of the Architectural Design Director; jump seamlessly between a variety of projects; stay organized and create compelling work within specified timelines.
Interpret program requirements, develop block plans, adjacency diagrams and detailed designs.
Complete business and project forms, understanding contracts for services.
Research; resourceful in able to obtain project information; fabrics, furniture, architectural elements.
Prepare plans, specifications and bid packages.
Develop detailed furniture plans specifications and bid packages.
Develop project schedules.
Develop documentation at an excellent production level.
Manage the preparation of all section and departmental reports and produce the required projects reports to PMO Director.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position when appropriate.
