BAE Systems is the UK Government s nominated Prime?Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to?provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide?maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF personnel?safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and?weapons. For such maintenance training, thi? role is responsible to the?Tornado Section Manager within the Directorate of Technical Crew (DoTC) to?provide day to day advice to RSAF Officers, Advise augment and assist in the?planning development, revision, evaluation and monitoring of Tornado Aircraft?Unit, training and evaluation programs The job holder will evaluate?training provided to RSAF personnel (commissioned and enlisted) and prepare?evaluation reports for the DoTC.JOB ACCOUNTABILITIESThe successful incumbent will be responsible for?the following duties:?Develop review and?update DoTC training manning and evaluation directives.?Provide advice on RSAF?officer and enlisted formal training courses OJT programs career development?and Manning?Advise DoTC staff on?matters pertaining to both OJT and formal academic training/evaluations and?recommend corrective action for identified training program discrepancies?Evaluate and report on?RSAF Officer Training Courses? nd Programs.?Evaluate and report on?RSAF Enlisted Training Courses and OJT Programs.??Conduct Training Needs?Analysis (TNA) to identify shortfalls in current training as well as?identifying new training requirements.?Develop training?solutions to identify training deficiencies for both commissioned and enlisted?personnel.?Conduct Staff Assistance?Visits (SAV) to bases and Field Training Centres (FTC) when required?Prepare reports,?briefings and staff correspondence to organizations internal and external to?the RSAF?Support RSAF officers at?meetings and participate in program management reviews?Perform other related?training duties as directed by the DoTCRECRUITMENT SPECIFICATIONEssential?The incumbent will have?a proven track record and extensive experience working in a military aviation?environment. The incumbent must have completed a recognized course of training?in Aeronautical Engineering and or an appropriate specialized training related?course.?Degree or relevant?professional qualification e.g. BS BA, MS Med CMIPD?Proven experience within?a training/evaluation environment, preferably at a senior supervisory level?HNC/HND or relevant?experience.?Must possess a?recognized teaching/instructor qualification certificate?Experience in training?course design and development?Able to demonstrate a?good understanding of the principles and concepts of training?Proactive with the?ability to work to tight deadli es?Sound knowledge of the?RSAF Tornado aircraft systems aircraft drawings aircraft?maintenance logistics management, statistical, analytical and presentation?techniques?Good written and verbal?communication skills in the English language?Strong Leadership?qualities with proven interpersonal and team working skills?Computer literate and an?experienced user of Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Power?Point, Access, Project).Desirable?Experience working?within a Military Training Organization?Experience managing?formal training and OJT programs?Experience instructing?individuals for whom English is a second language?A good all round?awareness of RSAF programs, Suppliers, Government to Government Standards?Agencies, International?Standards Agencies and?academic/research establishments
