5 years + in managing construction, renovation and/or development projects
Qualification: Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Architecture
ResponsibilityPlanning :?Create a comprehensive, cross-functional project schedule and create a valid project plan.? Plan the project (s) in sufficient detail to ensure the integrity of all activities, supervise the identification of dependencies across documents and files, and understand the important paths and main milestones.? Obtaining approval of the plan file through effective communication skills, ensuring understanding thorough of the plan, its implications for revenue, delivery dates, resources and deliverables.? Oversee the preparation of a comprehensive budget, reflecting the plan and all resource requirements.? Ensure and supervise the identification of resources (such as tools, logistical costs and legal fees) so that the project budget is accurate.? Ensure and supervise the identification of all necessary multi-functional resources so that the justification for these resources is clear in the event of limitations arising from other work responsibilities.? Ensure that all resources are aware of the roles and responsibilities assigned to them.? Direct and motivate the project team to achieve desired results, and to ensure effective communication is maintained throughout the project.? Ensure effective management of the third-party suppliers of the project/s.? Supervising and following up the provision of services to establish any infrastructure and operations that need delivery to support project outcomes.? Oversee the smooth delivery of the service delivery team and any other specified support functions.Implementation:?Manage project activities, time, cost, and quality, in line with the companys project framework.? Supervise and follow up reports in line with governance requirements.? applying risk management across the project/s, inforce mitigation measures, define contingency plans and manage components until the end of the project.? Ensure effective communication with project teams, internal and external stakeholders, partners, suppliers and customers.? Manage proposed changes to project parameters - eg scope, budget, and timelines.? Monitor the quality of project outputs and ensure that project objectives are achieved.? Hold project meetings and attend program and portfolio meetings as and when required.
