Job Description

Robert Walters Middle East is currently working with a leading government entity. They are seeking to hire a Department Head (Business Planning, Performance & Analytics) to join their team. This role is based in Riyadh, KSA. .Due to Saudization policies, this role is only open to Saudi Nationals.

  • Develop and implement business planning processes that support short-term and long-term goals, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
  • Provide ongoing financial support to commercial teams, including the development of business cases for new investments, product launches, etc.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, identify trends and variances and subsequently provide recommendations for improvement
  • Oversee the development and implementation of performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor organisational performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and consistency in the development and execution of business plans
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Masters degree preferred
  • CPA, ICAEW, or similar professional qualification is preferred
  • 9+ years of experience in business planning, performance management, and analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience managing a team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
