Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:The ideal candidate will:- Be educated to BSc. degree level or equivalent professional qualification. An engineering discipline or project management is preferred.- Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.- Possess strong project management skills. PMP certification will be an asset.- Experience with Shipley or Miller Heiman sales methodology. APMP qualification will be a preferred asset.- Possess a minimum of 5 years working experience in a proposals or business development role, ideally in a professional engineering consultancy services work environment, where possessing experience in the Middle East would be a further valued asset.- Be capable and comfortable working with a cross-functional team of business development, technical experts, commercial/risk, legal, marketing/proposals, human resources, and others.- Be a terrific professional networker that can quickly assimilate the organization chart, and identify appropriate authors, section and volume leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs) and other support personnel to successfully develop a proposal.- Be assertive, enthusiastic, highly organized, methodical, and flexible.- Possess strong people leadership skills, with ability to influence without power.- Possess a high-level understanding of commercial terms as a preference.- Be efficient with an acute attention to detail.
