Job Description

The position:This position offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified and self-driven ?External Auditor?. Your role is crucial to ensure execution of insurance companies audit mandates. We offer market competitive remuneration package.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to manage multiple audit engagement
  • Be able to manage the audit portfolio by allocating resources to engagements
  • Responsible for leading insurance audits from end to end
  • Should be able to deliver quality audit file fully complying with ISA and firms? internal quality requirements.
  • Working to deadlines and within budgets
  • Management of the relationship with the clients
  • Supervise and review the work of˙junior staff
  • Train junior staff in audit of insurance companies
  • Be able to present audit file for quality review to external/regulatory reviewers
  • Be a contact ?go to person? for audit of insurance companies
Pre-requisite
  • Minimum˙6-7 years including 2 years as Assistant Manager
  • CA or equivalent (only fully qualified candidates will be considered)
  • Should have obtained at least 3 years audit experience on non life including leading the insurance audit engagement for minimum 2 years (mandatory requirement)
  • Understand well the work done by actuaries, reinsurance and other third-party service providers for an insurance provider (Mandatory Requirement)
  • Understands IFRS 17. Prior experience on IFSR 17 implementation will be much preferred.
