JOB DESCRIPTION:?Determination of equipment and supplies requirements?Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.?Conduct industry research to identify potential suppliers?Evaluate suppliers based on products, services, and prices?Negotiate contracts/agreements for purchasing of materials and best deal for pricing and supply contracts.?Following and enforcing the companys procurement policies and procedures.?Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.?Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.?Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.?Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.?Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports..?Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies?Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality?Work with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as neededREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:?Proven work experience as a Purchase Engineer or similar role.?Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)?Understanding of supply chain procedures?Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses?Negotiation skills
