We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to ensure a safe and compliant working environment at our construction sites. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture among workers and subcontractors.Key Responsibilities? Implement and enforce site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans? Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard assessments? Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions? Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training? Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)? Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on safety matters? Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation? Stop unsafe work practices and recommend corrective measuresSkillsQualifications & Requirements? Diploma or Bachelor?s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field? Minimum [2?5] years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction projects? Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations ? Relevant safety certifications preferred? Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety audits? Strong communication and leadership skills? Ability to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced construction environment.
