Job DescriptionA Head Chef is responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while seeking customer feedback, training staff, controlling costs, and covering all business needsChef Responsibilities:Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.Overseeing all kitchen operations.Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.Keeping up to date with industry trends.Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary.SkillsCatering experience in managerial capacity? Experience managing a kitchen and developing staff? Experience managing food costs? Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills? Accountable and resilient? Committed to delivering a high level of customer service? Ability to work under pressure? Intermediate food hygiene qualification? Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations?
