SummaryResponsible for the implementation of plant Operation & Maintenance plans.Duties and responsibilities

Directly responsible for all O&M activities during his shift.
Reviews and evaluates operational/mechanical drawings and specifications.
Supervises controls and coordinates operation and maintenance activities.
Keeps plant equipment operation & maintenance records updated.
Knowledge of chemicals usage in desalination plant is must.
Knowledge of Potable water specifications and water analyzing methods is essential.
Studies, recommends and implements modifications or revisions to enhance plant performance.
Estimates supplies, materials, spare parts and issues purchase requisition.
Analyzes / resolves operating problem.
Coordinates maintenance and operating works with operation Shift Personnel.
Prepares daily reports of plant status (production/distribution/equipments failure).
Prepares and implements training plans.
Has knowledge about industrial and personnel safety. Implements Safety procedures/policies.
