Job Description

Job Title-Shift ForemanJob Location (Department / Plant) Operations - PowerReporting To: Power Operations Shift SupervisorRPCs conventional thermal power plant consists of steam generator units with electrostatic precipitators, wet limestone FGD units and steam turbine generators all supplied by its EPC Contractor, the MHI.Its main operations focus in ensuring continuous and uninterrupted supply of power requirements of Petro-Rabigh.The primary goals of Power Operations Department are:1. to maximize the plant availability, and the capacity produced to the petrochemical complex - water, power and steam2. to ensure ease of operations and maximize plant efficiency3. to minimize maintenance requirements and auxiliary power requirements4. to maximize revenue producing energy while minimizing capital and operational costs5. to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.4.0 Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operation of the facility during the shift and its interface with other parties. Shall ensure safe operation and high availability and reliability at minimum cost.
  • Plan, organize and control an adequate monitoring and operation of Power Plant with its subordinates, applying knowledge, policies and procedures that ensures the capacity and availability of the plant to the clients requirements (as per RAWEC-Petro Rabigh Agreement).
  • Manage and coordinate operations during normal and any abnormal operational situation assessing information and providing command to personnel and equipment to ensure safety and minimum impact on plants deliveries.
  • Responsible for the communication with all parties involved with the export of water, steam and power to the off-taker and act as main contact person during the shift.
  • Strictly apply PTW system LOTO making sure zero non-conformities.
