Management and supervision of the Production and Maintenance departmentsMain Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning and organizing production schedules, production orders on the ERP system and all required verbal and written instructions to the concerned to ensure smooth production operation.
Daily management and overseeing of the production process and its requirements.
Minimizing waste in raw material and finished goods
Securing all needed raw and packaging materials as well as consumables by coordinating with the sores and the QC departments.
Raising any flags regarding stock shortages early on.
Ensuring that used raw materials are meeting the required standards and taking immediate corrective action when not.
Optimizing production process by keeping it cost effective and improve its efficiency
Making sure that goods are produced on time and in accordance to set quality standards
Ensure that QMS (ISO 22000) as well as SFDA, GMP and health and safety regulations and guidelines are always followed
Organizing repair and routine maintenance of production equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and as needed.
Management of maintenance contracts for factory utilities and services
Troubleshooting and quick effective action in case of machinery breakdown
Maintaining accurate maintenance cards/files for every major unit in the factory detailing working hours, dates or routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance and reasons.
Prepare daily production reports and daily maintenance log sheet for the deputy CEO
Support the deputy CEO in formulating policies, budgets and recommendations
