Job Description

Relocation support will be provided if you are open to move to Hungary but you can also join us in Morocco.As aStatutory & Direct Tax Senior Accountant, you will be the part of our Account-to-Report (ATR) organization, which supports the statutory financial statement preparations and direct tax filings across our legal entities in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:

  • Prepare annual financial statements and support direct tax filing process in accordance with local GAAP (in this case country adopted IFRS), tax regulations
  • Prepare and support completions of group reporting tax package
  • Prepare annual transfer pricing profit monitoring assessment and conclude on profit adjustment requirement based group transfer pricing policies
  • Own and coordinate the external audits with local & Hungarian auditors
  • Coordinate background organizations, local business & finance stakeholders to supply information for the statutory closes
  • Participate in internal audits where relevant
  • Drive process improvements and engage in global digital initiatives to enable a very efficient, effective statutory closes for entities responsible for
  • Supporting local tax, customs audits

  • 4-7 years of experience on the field of Finance and/or Audit
  • 2-3 years of experience in overall annual financial statement preparation in IFRS (Preparation of a full set of annual financial statement in critical for this role)
  • Fluent English and French language knowledge
  • Good understanding of IFRS
  • Experience in working in a multinational environment
  • Experience with transfer pricing calculations
  • Experience with completing tax computation and also completing tax schedules
  • Good understanding of general tax rules
  • Experience in coordinating the work with external auditors
  • Result oriented mindset, ?driving? attitude
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
  • High Interest to digital projects in statutory accounting and reporting
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize and drive for performance
  • Seeks opportunities to gather feedback and modify behavior to enhance impact and improve performance
