For an upcoming Asian Development Bank (ABD) funded bus rapid transit (BRT) project in Peshawar, Pakistan, CDM Smith is seeking a Team Leader/Senior Project Manager.The primary objective of this project is to conduct surveys, perform preliminary and detailed engineering design, bidding document preparation and bid evaluation support for the construction of Phase 2A of the City of Peshawars BRT System.The Team Leader will play a fundamental role in ensuring overall project implementation is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. This will include key responsibilities such as project reporting, project team management, stakeholder an client engagement and presentations, and technical inputs to each planning component.While this position will be part-time across the 15-month project duration, it is expected that the Team Leader will be based in or within reasonable distance of Peshawar for the duration of the assignment.Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in civil engineering, transport engineering, transport / urban planning, project management, or a related field Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in implementing sustainable urban transport projects Minimum of 10 years in developing and implementing quality public transport systems, including specific experience with BRT Minimum of 10 years of experience in a position managing large sustainable urban transport projects as a team leader Experience on BRT and/or other urban transport projects in Pakistan (minimum of five years/five projects) International experience on urban transport projects in multiple countries (3 countries and five projects minimum) outside of Pakistan Dual nationality (Pakistan and another country)
