Be part of a winning team that leads the way in Enterprise Information Management.ÿThe Opportunity:As a Workday Configuration Engineer and Developer, your role will involve working with the Workday platform to configure and customize various modules according to the organizations requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and IT, to understand their needs and translate them into effective Workday solutions.You are great at:

• Workday Configuration: Utilizing the Workday platform to configure and maintain various modules, such as Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, and Time Tracking. This involves understanding business processes, configuring business rules, workflows, and security roles to align with organizational requirements.
• Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements and analyze them to identify the most appropriate configuration and customization options within Workday. You will need to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
• Customization and Development: Developing custom reports, calculated fields, and integrations using Workdays development tools, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Web Services. This involves writing and debugging code, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data integrity.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conducting thorough testing of Workday configurations and customizations to ensure they meet the specified requirements. This includes creating test cases, executing tests, and documenting results. You will need to identify and resolve any issues or defects that arise during testing.
• Documentation and Training: Creating documentation, user guides, and training materials to support end-users and administrators in understanding and effectively utilizing the Workday system. You may also provide training sessions and workshops to educate users on new features and functionalities.
• System Maintenance and Support: Assisting in the ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of the Workday system. This involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with Workday support or vendors when necessary.
• Stay Updated with Workday Enhancements: Keeping up-to-date with the latest Workday releases, new features, and best practices. You should proactively assess how these updates may benefit the organization and recommend appropriate enhancements or changes to existing configurations.

What it takes

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years experience strong experience in Workday configuration and development, including proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, calculated fields, and report writing.
• Proficient in Workday HCM Modules including Core, Security, Talent and Performance, Recruitment and Onboarding, Compensation and Benefits, Payroll
• Understanding of Workday integration tools and technologies, such as Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and XML/XSLT.
• Knowledge of HR and Finance business processes and best practices.
• Ability to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with testing methodologies and techniques for Workday configurations and customizations.
• Familiarity with system maintenance, upgrades, and support processes.
