Be part of a winning team that leads the way in Enterprise Information Management.ÿThe Opportunity:As a Sr. Network Manager, you will be expected to manage technical processes and teams utilizing technical skills to address daily operational activities. The role requires comfort and expertise equally in technical and management fields. You will provide personnel with guidance through a combination of technical skills, an understanding of enterprise data network management, attention to policies required for business compliance, and global team orchestration.This role is responsible for overseeing the strategy, design, operation, and improvement of corporate and cloud networks for all of OpenText Business Units (BU). This individual will manage a team of network engineers to ensure the design, implementation, upgrade, and stability of the wireless and wired networks, firewalls and switches, cloud, maintaining network security and issue reporting, and defining and documenting network architecture and standards.You are great at:

• Manage network designs, development, and build from multiple infrastructure projects and ensureÿappropriate security, growth, safety, redundancy, reliability, and sustainability design strategies are inÿplace for OpenText Enterprise
• Manage network engineering team
• Manage OpenText network operations.
• Develop and oversee network technology roadmap for all BUs
• Ability to be on call as needed, accommodate intermittent travel, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide Level-3 network support for all OpenText BUs
• Assist in developing roadmaps for increasing network capacity, redundancy, flexibility, security, and scalability
• Maintain security across network infrastructure
• Ensure network documentation is maintained
• Provide input to budget for network infrastructure
• Good technical expertise with enterprise On Prem Network Technologies ? Switches, Routers, Loadÿ ÿBalancers, Network Access Control, Remote Access technologies, SDWAN Devices, Wireless Networks, Proxy Services, as well as the supporting technologies like DNS and DHCP
• Participate in IT change control process and notifications to the business of changes, plannedÿ ÿmaintenance, or unplanned outages.
• Stay abreast of current technologies, developments, network compliance requirements, standards, andÿ ÿindustry trends.

What it takes

• Bachelor?s degree, required in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of three (3)) years managing a large, complex enterprise network
• Leading large technical projects with demonstrated oral and written ability to communicate with team members and business leaders
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, wireless, firewalls and VOIP services.
• Managing and mentoring network engineers
• Architecting and designing large-scale networks
• Managing and maintaining routers, switches, load balancers and Firewalls
• Wireless networking technologies such as 802.11x in an enterprise environment
• CCNA or CCNA Certification, Active or Expired, and verifiable network project experience to match 5-10 years of active network leadership experience are highly desirable
• Experience with cloud based telecom systems/technologies
• Network certification a plus
