The IT Platform Engineering Senior Manager position requires a seasoned professional with outstanding judgement as well as leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. It requires innovative technology thought leadership and management to maximize the effectiveness of the organization and grow the top and bottom line. It also calls for strategic thinking and the use of decision-making authority. Candidates need strong project management experience and the ability to monitor and manage multiple initiatives concurrently, as well as excellent staff management skills.You are great at:

  • Implement the necessary technology, process and operational oversight in order to accomplish business goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the provisioning of a reliable, scalable and secure technology and operations environment.
  • Develop and implement company standards and best practices.
What it takes:
  • Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent of work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing relevant technology teams in a medium to large scale environment.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud ecosystems.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365, including Intune.
  • Strong experience with VMware.
  • Strong experience with NetApp storage.
  • Proficient knowledge in computer hardware and software systems and programs, networks, troubleshooting and security.
Beneficial/preferred qualifications:
  • Ability to think clearly, a logical thought process and above all, the refusal to give up, admit defeat or succumb to adverse and/or difficult situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to negotiate a compromise among business partners with competing priorities.
