Specialist, (School Relationship Advisor)Department: Examination BoardOrganization: Aga Khan UniversityIntroductionThe Aga Khan University was found in 1983 as Pakistan?s first private university, Aga Khan University is a not-for-profit institution and an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network. Starting in 2000, the University expanded to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom and Afghanistan. AKU began life as a health-sciences university.The Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) is Pakistan?s first university-led trans-provincial private autonomous examination body for Secondary and Higher Secondary School Certifications (SSC and HSSC). The Board also offers an innovative Middle School Programme (MSP) to help students transition into secondary school through project-based learning.AKU-EB?s primary purpose is to improve the quality of education by delivering high quality and accessible syllabus and examinations across the nation, in accordance with the National Curriculum of Pakistan. AKU-EB?s qualifications are recognized and valued by leading higher education institutions nationally and internationally.The Board was established by the Aga Khan University in August 2003 in accordance with the ?Ordinance CXIV? of the Government of Pakistan.Responsibilities You will be responsible for:

  • develop and implement business development plans
  • identify Schools/Colleges with potential to offer AKU-EB Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School Certificate
  • promote AKU-EB in schools and colleges through regular meetings with principals, teachers, and academic coordinators
  • regularly follow up potential schools and colleges to ensure maximum conversion as AKU-EB affiliates
  • manage relationship with AKU-EB affiliated schools and colleges
  • keeping the team updated on new market developments and insights
  • planning and executing events to engage schools/colleges
  • cross-sell AKU-EB products
  • deepen AKU-EB relationship with schools by engaging them to participate in various AKU-EB activities/events
  • generate progress and feedback reports on schools on monthly basis to feedback Teacher Development, Communications and Marketing˙staff.
Requirements You should have:
  • a Master?s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development and/or relationship management, preferably in education sector
  • a people?s person ? a natural relationship manager
  • ability to take ownership of a task from start to finish
  • excellent communication skills in English; conversational Urdu
  • understanding of Pakistan
  • very pro-active individual
  • excellent interpersonal skills, passionate and cheerful.
