Job Description

Auto Technology is looking for an experienced leader of software development for its Auto Originations platform. The ideal candidate for this role has successfully designed, delivered and maintained scalable and resilient systems for the financial services domain. The candidate would have demonstrated the ability to lead and manage multiple, geographically diverse teams that develop, maintain and support public cloud-hosted software. Looking for a highly driven and empathetic thought leader, proficient software engineer, problem solver and team player who can make a significant impact in driving modernization and enabling key capabilities for the Auto business.You?ll lead a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists who are already developing and deploying applications to the highest standards. With your deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing, and application programming, your team will raise their game even more, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements.   • End-to-end software design, development and delivery of solutions for the Auto business. Build, organize and mentor teams for success
  • Partner with stakeholders to ideate, define and deliver scalable solutions on the product roadmap
  • Prioritize and allocate resources to efficiently deliver on the firm?s technology goals
  • Govern and iteratively enhance the SDLC, coding standards, testing quality, and improve developer productivity
  • Ensure compliance with the firm?s security and controls policies
  • Prepare and execute on hiring, training and retention programs in collaboration with HR business partners
  • Serve as location lead for Auto Technology in Hyderabad, India. Build an inclusive and diverse community and an innovative culture while providing leadership to drive a common agenda aligned to the Global Technology and Auto Product strategy
Required skills, qualfications:
  • Over 15 years of experience in software development.Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Passion for designing and delivering modern, cloud-based solutions at scale (Java tech stack).Experienced in modern programming languages
  • Experience with building, leading and mentoring technology teams and next level leaders within the organization. Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment leading/working with geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience with implementing industry standard cybersecurity & technology controls. Experience with cost forecasting and budget planning
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to and communicate effectively with key stakeholders across product, technology, data and design
  • Bachelors degree in Computer, Electronic or IT Engineering is required. Masters degree or MBA (or equivalent) is preferred
  • Financial industry experience preferred
