We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.Job summary :As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm?s business objectives.Job responsibilities :We are seeking a ReactJs/Python developer for an internal Data Analytics application that is used across multiple Securities Services business lines. Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing strong functional and technical understanding of the application
  • Create Automated Unit Tests using Flexible/Open Source Frameworks using a Test Driven Development approach
  • Own ongoing development and support of the application
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
  • Proficiency in UI technologies and frameworks, specifically JavaScript, React, and Node.js Express
  • Proficient in Python programming languages
  • Understanding of software delivery lifecycle, agile environment, and knowledge of CI/CD Execution (GitHub, Jenkins, AIM etc.)
  • Familiarity with RDBMS data concepts and experience in writing SQL queries
  • An ability to be flexible, self-sufficient, and proactive whilst working in a broader team
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to converse directly with business stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
  • Knowledge of Java, would be a plus
  • Working AWS knowledge/certification (huge plus)
