You?re ready to gain the skills and experience needed to grow within your role and advance your career ? and we have the perfect software engineering opportunity for you.As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase, you are part of Consumer & Community Banking - Digital Tech team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm?s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.Job responsibilities

  • Responsible for enacting Scrum values and practices and strong understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities
  • Has strong understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities
  • Promote and participate in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value.
  • Code, design, and testing in a heterogeneous technology environment e.g. Java, Spring Boot, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation.
  • Engineer a world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving.
  • Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit, component testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing capabilities.
  • Adheres to architecture standards, risk management and security policies.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • BE degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of Technical experience required.
  • 1-2 Years of working experience on AWS
  • 1-2 Years of working experience on Terraform
  • Experience with cloud migrations
  • Experience with deployment of Cloud Platforms, Container/Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud)
  • Adept in SCM / DevOps / CI/CD tools & process (GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Sonar)
  • Hands on Experience with J2EE Technologies
  • Strong drive and ability to learn and apply new emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
  • Exposure to cloud technologies
