Job Description

There?s nothing more exciting than being at the center of a rapidly growing field in technology and applying your skillsets to drive innovation and modernize the worlds most complex and mission-critical systems.Job summary :As a Site Reliability Engineer III at Securities Services Technology, you will solve complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions. Through code and cloud infrastructure, you will configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize applications and their associated infrastructure to independently decompose and iteratively improve on existing solutions. You are a significant contributor to your team by sharing your knowledge of end-to-end operations, availability, reliability, and scalability of your application or platform.Job responsibilities :We are seeking a SRE with Python/AWS/data background for an internal Data Analytics application that is used across multiple Securities Services business lines. Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Incidence management
  • Fixing support escalation issues and Conducting post-incident reviews
  • Implementing DevOps practices
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
  • 7+ Years of experience, Bachelors or Master?s Degree - preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Proficiency in any scripting language (preferably Python) and any database (preferably Oracle )
  • Understanding of software delivery lifecycle, agile environment, and knowledge of CI/CD Execution (GitHub, Jenkins, AIM etc.)
  • Familiarity with RDBMS data concepts and experience in writing SQL queries
  • An ability to be flexible, self-sufficient, and proactive whilst working in a broader team
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to converse directly with business stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
  • Experience as a Site reliability will be huge plus
  • Working AWS knowledge/certification (huge plus)
