You will engage your team and ensure that they remain compliant in everything they do.ÿ You will also ensure the reliability of all utilities and operational equipment which will support supply reliability and the delivery of financial commitments.As an Engineering & EHS Leader, you will champion Safety Culture and will ensure we are meeting the corporate expectations in relation to both Environmental Sustainability and Site Security. As a key member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT), you will jointly champion the development and execution of the Site Strategy and will oversee the alignment of site Continuous Improvement activities to the strategy.ÿAs a Senior Manager, you will be setting the objectives for multiple projects in your division. Your managerial and technical skills will help in guiding the people in your division. Your understanding of the external marketplace and customer requirements will facilitate in instituting knowledge sharing practices in your team and outside. You shall be relied on to manage operational activities that support the goals of the division andÿsetsÿdirection for its success.?ÿThrough your expertise and extensive knowledge, you will be able to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for patients and healthcare.?ÿHow You Will Achieve Itÿ

• Set objectives for and manage multiple projects withinÿthe operating unit.ÿ
• Develop and execute a Site Strategy that is aligned with the PGS Value Proposition of Quality/Compliance/Safety, Supply Reliability and Cost/Cash/Value. Also responsible for oversight and control Capex utilization. Also responsible for oversight of aligned Continuous Improvement activity.
• Act as a GMP Compliance role model for the Engineering & EHS department, ensuring that policies and procedures are developed and maintained as they relate to GMP and production processes.
• Responsible for ensuring that an effective EHS culture is implemented in daily operations activities.
• Responsible for ensuring that all operations equipment in PGS karachi operations is running properly to minimize equipment downtime.
• Responsible for ensuring all PGS facilities and utilities compliant with global PQS.
• Drive team engagement, effective communication, and the development of managerial staff (Managers & Supervisors) within the Engineering & EHS team
• Develop innovative, advanced new concepts that improve processes or products across own and related disciplines.ÿ
• Translate long-range site and production goals into the daily activities necessary to achieve thoseÿgoals.ÿÿÿ
• Work with the Site Coordinators to establish robust procedures based on best practices for equipment availability and reliability (supply).ÿÿÿ
• Ensure plant equipment availability to meet production plan.ÿ
• Accountability for operations and activities of 3rd Party Providersÿand other associated contractors to ensure the optimal delivery of services in line with safety, cost, quality and schedule objectives.ÿ
• Empower and coach the Process Centric Team to deliver End to End commitments to efficiently meet customer requirements and supply metric targets.ÿ
• Participate inÿEngineering and EHS Leadershipÿteamÿand will be expected to be familiar with the operation of other departments within the Engineering and EHS function and will be expected to represent all aspects of the teams? activities as appropriate.ÿ
• Champion and drive equipment and systems improvements.ÿ
• Develop continuous improvement programs that increase the performance and reliability of plant production equipment.ÿ
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring, trending and reporting all equipment and Systems Performance.ÿ
• Drive the consistent application of maintenance systems, standards and best practice across the Operating Units.ÿ
• Provide Leadership to the Engineering $ EHS Team on site.ÿ
• Develop and manage team specific engineering systems.ÿ

QualificationsÿMust-Haveÿ

• Bachelor?s Degreeÿandÿ7+ years of experience Engineering & EHS Experience
• Strong leadership and influencing capabilities at all levels of the organization.ÿ
• Proven problem solving and project management skills.ÿ
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent customer, stakeholder & customer relationship management.
• Clear understanding of EH&S Compliance (incident management, rehabilitation, environmental control.

Nice-to-Haveÿ

• Master?s degreeÿand Relevant pharmaceutical experience.ÿ
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.ÿ
• A proven track record of delivering continuous improvement and value across multiple process streams and customers.ÿ
