1. Lead and Supervise machinery maintenance activities across the Karachi site.
2. Actively participate and support the site?s initiatives/improvement projects.
3. Key contact for production team on site for daily machines planned & unplanned maintenance activities and fulfilling the documentation requirements.
4. Provide support to the project team, as and when required.

CAPITAL EXPENDITURE

1. Lead the assigned capex projects related to fill & pack machines and chemical formulation.
2. Support in selection of technical items for the capex with reference to maintenance.
3. For projects being done by maintenance team, supervision to be arranged as required.

ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE POLICY AND STANDARDS

1. EMPS Actions implementation related to machine maintenance.
2. To provide suggestions and support for improvement in EMPS implementation actions based on sites historic experience
3. Provide monthly data for the relevant KPIs.

HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT AND ,QUALITY SUPPORT

1. Ensure working teams of technicians and contractors follows the agreed HSEQ procedures
2. Ensure all the relevant PTW and related requirements for HSEQ are completed.

Accountabilities:

1. Timely and effective troubleshooting and repair of day-to-day equipment and systems issues.
2. Ensure compliance of preventive maintenance plans for machinery.
3. Ensure maintenance KPIs like MTTR, MTBF and failure rates are met as per target.
4. Work with other staff in identifying root cause of system, equipment, or material failures.
5. Recommend process or system modifications. Assist in diagnosing and finding the answers to technical problems.
6. Maximise equipment and plant availability through the root cause identification and subsequent elimination of problems / defects.
7. Implement ideas to improve efficiency and effectiveness in both energy usage and of plant / production equipment performance.
8. Working closely with production and quality department for Quality, Cost and Service initiatives to drive performance improvement.
9. Initiation of Purchase Requisitions (PR) based for spares and consumables as per IP policy.
10. Manage maintenance works to ensure compliance with LOTO & HSE procedures.
11. Ensure all manuals and drawings are updated for machines.
12. Cooperate and communicate effectively with maintenance manager and other team members to provide assistance and technical support.
