Then consider a job with ThinkWell.ThinkWell is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor (STA) to lead a technical program implementation and quality for our Pakistan project portfolio. The STA is responsible for high-level technical advising and strategic guidance to project staff and external partners. The STA can leverage technical expertise to support program design and execution. The STA provides technical leadership and ensures high-quality technical project execution while playing a leading role overall in the Pakistan portfolio.The STA brings substantial technical and managerial expertise, in-country experience, and industry knowledge in health financing. The STA is responsible for providing technical leadership and day-to-day management of a small technical team based in Sindh province, on behalf of the Country Director based elsewhere in Pakistan. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager, enthusiastic about shaping the growth of a cutting-edge enterprise.The STA will be based in Sindh and will report to the Pakistan Country Director.What you?ll doTechnical Leadership

• Provide direct technical assistance to ensure high-quality program results and execution across projects in health financing. Engage provincial- and national-level ministers and principal secretaries in the health sector and related areas, as well as key development partners, such as the World Bank, the Global Financing Facility, and the World Health Organization.
• Communicate with other ThinkWell colleagues globally to build, share, exchange, and disseminate technical knowledge.

• Collaborate with other partners in the health care financing space to promote effectiveness and sustainable healthcare financing practices.

• In collaboration with the Country Director, design and develop key interventions, management plans, and work plans to meet program objectives.
• Support direct report to implement program activities and associated learning outputs.
• Develop monitoring, evaluation, research and learning tools, indicators, and plans.
• Ensure production of high-quality learning outputs. Provide written input into technical documents, project status reports, blogs, and articles for publication and dissemination on ThinkWell?s website, external sites, and at conferences.

• Effectively manage Sindh-based team, proactively growing team members by focusing on their professional development and capacity building.
• Lead by example, delegate effectively, demonstrate integrity, motivate, and inspire others.
• Create a positive, respectful country team operating culture and environment, and engage respectfully with employees at all levels across the firm.
• Collaborate with Talent and the Country Director to oversee in-country employee relations issues, performance management, training, compensation & benefits, and to design technical training and development activities that will support and build professional development.

• Represent ThinkWell in Sindh, actively engage key stakeholders, cultivate new business partnerships and concepts.

• Build project portfolio in the technical specialty area in collaboration with Design Lab, program managers, and other firm and country leaders.
• Collaborate with Design Lab to collect and pursue new business information and contacts
• Publish papers, articles, and blogs. Present at conferences/participate in technical working groups on ThinkWell project-related technical innovations, priorities, and results. Build ThinkWell?s reputation as a thought leader in the field.

• Consult and coordinate with key stakeholders within government, donors, and other entities to build ThinkWell program division and reputation.
• Play a firm-wide leadership role, participate in company initiatives and teams to build intellectual and human capital in the technical area of specialization.
