Job Description

Senior Research Assistant, F4HE, Department of˙Obstetrics and Gynaecology Location:˙Karachi, PakistanIntroductionThe Aga Khan University is a private, international university committed to international standards of excellence in teaching, research, and service. Its teaching hospital, the Aga Khan University Hospital has been accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission International for achieving the highest international healthcare standards.This is a grant-funded contractual position.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:

  • closely coordinate on daily basis with the research specialist and principal investigator.
  • produce daily report of research updates.
  • manage the research activities under the supervision of principal investigator.
  • keep record of all the research activities and regularly create deliverable reports.
  • coordinate and manage research budgetary activities.
  • coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders from different field teams regarding project updates and activities.
  • keep a track of project monitoring framework.
  • prepare and present weekly project related activity reports.
RequirementsYou should have:
  • a degree in economics or educational management or equivalent. However, a certificate in early childhood parenting and project management will be added advantage
  • at least one year of experience in research administration with reputable Healthcare sector
  • ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
  • knowledge about ECD thematic areas
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • resilience and ability to cope with work pressure
  • willing to work in the communities/field sites
  • good Computer and Report Writing Skills
  • excellent organizational capabilities and ability to handle diverse set of tasks for multiple studies simultaneously.
