For an upcoming Asian Development Bank (ABD) funded bus rapid transit (BRT) project in Peshawar, Pakistan, CDM Smith is seeking a Senior ITS SpecialistThe primary objective of this project is to conduct surveys, perform preliminary and detailed engineering design, bidding document preparation and bid evaluation support for the construction of Phase 2A of the City of Peshawars BRT System.The Senior ITS Specialist is expected to play a role in reviewing ITS specifications and bid documents, providing edits and modifications, determining bill of quantity requirements, and assisting in negotiation of service operations with the existing System Control Company.While this position will be part-time across the 15-month project duration, ideally the candidate is based in Pakistan, with easy ability to travel and work from Peshawar for periods of several weeks at a time during the course of the assignment.Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in systems, engineering or a related field Minimum of 7 years of experience with fare and ITS equipment, including specific experience with fare and ITS equipment for urban public transport systems Experience on urban transport projects in Pakistan (minimum of three years/three projects preferred) International experience on urban transport projects in countries outside of Pakistan (minimum of two other countries and three projects preferred)
