Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:Job Summary:The Senior Manager, FP&A, will lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership. This role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to support business decision-making and drive financial performance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of Annual Plan and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • To perform regular variance analysis to compare actual performance against forecasts, identifying discrepancies and their causes.
  • Provide financial implications of commercial initiatives such as NPIs, Price changes and volume / channel mix strategies. Track performance of commercial initiatives.
  • To assist Senior Leadership Team in preparation of regional / global project submissions. Plays key role in projects with financial implications.
  • Conduct scenario planning to evaluate the financial impact of different business scenarios, helping to prepare for various market conditions and uncertainties.
  • Assist Finance Director in integration of financial data with sales and operations plans, ensuring that all plans are financially viable and aligned with the company?s overall financial strategy.
  • To anticipate changing business dynamics and raise flags proactively to enable the Senior Leadership Team in taking alternate course of action.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to GM, FD and senior leadership team.
  • Timely submission of all the monthly deliverables to METAP&CIS HQ in relevant standard formats and in line with Abbott accounting policies and procedures.
  • Manage and mentor a team of FP&A professionals and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Qualification:
  • CA, ACCA or MBA Finance.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
Skills:
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
