Successful candidate will also act as the Solution Architect & Business Analyst and will work with Technical teams to ensure that administration and implementation are conducted per GSS target architecture, procedures and best practices.Goals

  • To analyze design & develop robust solution as per GSS target architecture, ServiceNow best practices and guidelines
  • Adhere to the GSS Security and Privacy guidelines in all deliveries.
  • Meeting SLA, KPI?s and customer satisfaction related to tool
  • Implement and continuously improve the user interface and entire journey
  • Implementation of automation initiatives to bring in efficiency
  • Implement ServiceNow SecOps for vulnerability scanning
Your Typical day at work
  • As a ServiceNow Developer you will play an important role in driving its strategic direction as well as supporting its continual development and enhancement. You will work within a team of ServiceNow Administrators and Developers.
  • Support the squad in the improvement of the existing ServiceNow platform. The position requires a diverse background in ITSM, CSM & HR case management process
  • Serve as subject matter expert and deliver end-to-end automated solutions which include technical implementation of the ServiceNow Platform, Core System, and applications.
  • Delivering effective and timely solutions through the application of business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI Actions, ACL?s and configuration of forms and workflows
  • Developing custom widgets and UI/UX changes on service and customer portal
  • Manage ServiceNow version updates and new releases which include planning, testing, documentation, analysis of new functionality and its impact and implementation of the release
  • Build and Deploy script includes, scheduled jobs, import sets, and transform maps
  • Provide advanced support for Service Now by troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes and root cause analysis etc.
  • Building, configuring and supporting integrations between ServiceNow and other internal and external applications using SOAP/REST and other modern integration techniques
  • Develop functional, technical and architectural design documentations.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how a solution will function and what it will look like.
  • Maintain production system reliability through utilization of Change Management process
  • Actively engage in system testing including writing test cases and creating and utilizing automated test scripts.
  • Drive the UI/UX improvements to the overall user-experience ? UI, processes, and information architecture
  • Creating robust processes and applications that are dependent upon external APIs
  • Integration of MS Defender, Sentinel with ServiceNow for security incident detection and remediation.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving the solution
Eligibility Criteria
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or a demonstrated equivalence in work experience
  • Certification: ServiceNow CSA or CAD certified (good to have), ServiceNow implementation /devops certification, could be from ITSM, HR Case Management or CSM (good to have)
Work experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow implementation, development, and administration
  • Experience in ServiceNow Advanced Scripting & Integrations
  • Experience gained in a client-facing environment
  • Experience with ServiceNow upgrades
  • Working within Agile methodologies
  • Writing and evaluating technical and functional requirements
  • Experience in creating HLD & LLD documentations
  • Hands-on Experience launching and managing multiple modules ITSM, HR Service Deliver, CSM & ITOM modules
  • Strong JavaScript capabilities & using the ServiceNow Glide JavaScript libraries
  • Experience with custom layouts using Angular
  • Experience piloting and driving new modules and functionality
  • Experience with SecOps implementation /operations in ServiceNow
  • Experience related to workflow and automation features in ServiceNow
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multi-national team across multiple time zones
