No matter what your position, you will have a vital role in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet.PURPOSE:Security Managersoversee the security operations and ensure foolproof security of FF&P operations, employees, workers, visitors, materials and company assets. Develop security strategies, implement security procedures, and supervise the Security TeamKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures for FF&P operations with an alignment of all stake holders.
• Manage all security checks of employees, service providers, vendors, and guest.
• Lead and maintain the impetus on the Security projects underway at site with Project team and plan additional infrastructural improvement with alignment with FF&P manager and all stake holders.
• Carryout site risk assessment of site and FF&P operations on 6 monthly basis to prepare and update the Security Plan for FF&P. Identifies security loopholes and preemptively addresses them (guard performance, technical equipment, potential threats).
• Conduct SWOT analysis of FF&P operations site, Toller, vendor and existing protocols.
• Keep the line manager well informed about the security incidents that could impact FF&P operations in Pakistan
• Implement Security vendor Manned guarding for FF&P operations
• Put all contracts on procurement tool to avoid control failures in any services procurement.
• Implement controls at Gate, weigh bridge (if applicable), Access Control System, and CCTV operations respectively and highlight gaps to business for improvement.
• Manage supply chain logistic traffic flow at plant in an efficient way for departments. (FG / RM / Project / Engineering etc.)
• Execute strong visitor management program at site under the guidelines of Syngenta Group Global Security Policy.
• Participate in yearly AOP budgeting and control budgets for security operations and projects while monitoring expenses as per FF&P Budget
• Impart on job training and supervise security vendor work force on s of each guard post respectively.
• Carryout daily line walk for each guard post. and bring continual improvement in the Security controls.
• Act as a key member for FF&P Crisis Management Planning.
• Work closely with FF&P Leadership Teams to understand the business needs and extend full support to them under core security responsibilities.
• Manage Workplace Violence (WPV), Loss Prevention, general discipline at Site and FF&P operations
• Get in-depth knowledge on the protocols related to; Site Environment, Health, Safety, Quality, Labor Laws, CBA affairs, Controls, Waste and Scrap Contracts, Gate, Toller operation, P&S Warehouse, visitor management.
• Reduction of guard strength and bring productivity / efficiency in operations
• Attend morning meetings / other invited meetings as Site LT with other managers to determine operational needs in FF&P operations and site
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events at Site
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms at Site
• Submit, routine reports & returns to Line Manager and site LT, and also the monthly incident tracker report to line manager covering (WPV, theft, Loss Prevention, Fire, accidents etc.) at site and FF&P operations.
• Be part of investigation team on pilferage / thefts, WPV and road safety.
• Close Liaison with LEAs and Industrial Estate on Security Matters.
• Analyze data to form proposals for Security infrastructural and process improvements
• Initiate Security Alerts / Advisories to Site and FF&P audience to support smooth shift operations.
• Impart Security awareness trainings to Company Associates, Workers, Security vendor work force.
• Manage expats for FF&P operations. Ensure to have close Liaison with host department on implementing visit / meeting agenda at Plant or any restaurants.
• Any other Security tasks given by line manager with time passing.
• Establish & maintain effective relationship with all relevant stakeholders and law enforcing agencies & keep abreast of the security situation in the country and act accordingly.
• Make liaison with the emergency service, police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and services.
• Ensure compliance with organization?s policies, government law(s) and security industry regulations.
• Management of security tools & equipment such as alarm systems, video surveillance systems (CCTV), burglar alarm, etc
• Prepare emergency response plan and ensure implementation of emergency drills to check the efficacy of prepared plan.
• Provide an effective executive protection program and ensuring appropriate and provided security for company officials and colleagues.
• Produce necessary reports, records, and documents to the management from time to time.
• Undertake, initiate and manage investigations related to security incidences. Ensure the protection of the reputation of the Company through timely investigation and resolution of all reports of criminal or potentially criminal activity.
