Responsibilities Materials planning in close coordination with Demand Planner, Sales and Marketing to support the production planning and new product launches. Inventory Management of all Raw & Packing Materials while ensuring a complete and true record keeping and proper warehousing of all inventories. Ensuring physical stock taking of all inventories on a regular basis, as per the company policies, and resolution of all reconciling issues in a timely manner. Ensuring that all warehousing operations and infrastructure meet all AIB, FS and HSE requirements. Developing capital plans and executing projects to enhance the capabilities of warehousing and distribution functions. Managing 3rd Party storages effectively to ensure they are efficient and AIB, FS and HSE complaint. Spearhead Supply Planning /MRP forum in monthly S&OP meetings Developing an efficient transport system for all in-bound materials. Coordinating with transportation companies for cost effective and speedy deliveries of all incoming materials and supplies. Managing logistics of imported materials, machineries, and spare parts including customs clearance of all consignments and follow ups with suppliers. Achieving Service-to-sales efficiency of 98% to satisfy the detailed SKU-wise market demand while limiting FG write-offs to less than 0.05%. Serving the optimum market demand staying within the production constraints and maximizing the plant capacity utilization. Delivering productivity in compressible spend and OCF category as per the target. Apart from the above, employee is expected to perform other accountabilities, time to time assigned by the manager. JOB DIMENSIONS Raw Material Spend > $60MM (annual) Qualifications Knowledge/Skill Preferably an MBA with an engineering degree Materials Planning & MRP Warehousing / Inventory Management Knowledge Analytical skills Experience 7-10 years in SC planning, warehousing, procurement of import/export materials Should have experience in leading a large team effectively Competencies Leadership/ Team Management Negotiation Skills Strong Follow up Self-Motivation Decision making
