Its teaching hospital, the Aga Khan University Hospital has been accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission International for achieving the highest international healthcare standards.Job Role / Responsibilities:Reporting to Director, Health Data Science Center, the candidate will be responsible to assist in overall project implementation and carrying out research by collecting data through qualitative and quantitative techniques as well as analysis and presentation of data. Also responsible for managing administrative matters and overall day to day management and coordination of the project.You will be responsible to:

• Data Collection through qualitative (In-depth interviews and focus group) and quantitative (questionnaires/surveys) techniques
• Conduct literature reviews and provide support in writing research papers
• Assist supervisors in carrying out day-to-day research work
• Coordinate logistics and schedule meetings, prepare meeting agendas and record meeting minutes
• Support communication plans, work plans, and coordinates the work of project team members and other project/program management professionals
• Support the planning and management of different events including seminars, conferences, and workshops
• Maintain project documentation for reporting; Paperwork and other related documents connected with grant-funded programs
• Draft and administer MoUs, agreements and contracts with collaborators, partners, subcontractors and other contributors
• Coordinate with other relevant colleagues within and outside the university, as required, for each project/activity
• Assist in completing IRB applications for research projects and with the writing of grant progress reports to the funding agencies
• Assist in preparing manuscripts and abstracts for publications and presentations as required by investigators, administrators, and funding agencies
• Prepare and present periodic project related activity reports
• Keep track and follow-up with research teams on progress reports of the project.
• Any other task assigned by the principal investigator.

• Master?s degree in Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Health Policy & Management, Public Health, Healthcare Management, Sociology, or any other relevant discipline
• Three to five years of relevant experience in a large organisation preferably in healthcare research.
• Experience in the practical conduct of data-driven research studies, health services research, data management and analysis are highly desirable
• Experience with project or grant coordination, management, and submission.
• Skills in data collection, analysis and interpretation
• Knowledge of data collection techniques including surveys and other research designs
• Good understanding of grant management processes and associated stakeholders at the University level.
• Experience with software such as NVIVO, REDCap, SPSS
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills in English with the ability to write formal letters and emails
• Ability to work with and provide support to multiple stakeholders and colleagues locally and internationally
• Pro-active, detail oriented, skilled at time management with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
