Job Description

Employment Type: This is a full-time position.Grade: This is a grade 2 position.Location: This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan (Hybrid)About the Role:This role will give you an opportunity to work closely with LEAs and to ensure that we are aligned as per local laws and regulations.Your Impactful Goals will include:

  • Ensure that requirements of all LEAs are fulfilled as per local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management at all LEA levels so that Telenor can have maximum business advantage
  • Ensure healthy relations with LEAs
  • Provide operational support to the PRA Islamabad team as needed
  • Support to division/Internal Departments in issues related to Police/Agencies
  • Issuance of NOC for various event/activities for Telenor Pakistan
Your Typical Day will look like:
  • Thorough compliance to LEA tasks, managing its workload, within flexible shift-based roster.
  • Effective stakeholder Mapping, Engagement and Management.
  • Meetings with the governmental authorities and comply with their requirements.
  • Engage Stakeholders in activities.
  • Meetings with stakeholders in ICT/RWP.
  • Regional visits to meet stakeholders.
  • Explore new revenue streams with regards to G2P & P2G cash flows and help commercial and S&D teams to secure business from government.
  • Meetings with different government bodies to explore business opportunities.
  • Meeting with Police setups for LEA related tasks.
  • Business Growth through identifying opportunities in Government Organizations.
  • Ensure that requirements of all LEAs are fulfilled as per SOP and license obligations.
  • All Events arrangements of PRA.
  • Departmental Coordination.
  • Support in divisional activities
  • Record Keeping and Inventory management.
  • Coordination with Legal department and Court appearances.
Potential Career Path:This role may open career avenues in Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, S&D and CSR domains.What were looking for:Education: Minimum Bachelor?s Degree. Masters/MBA/Public Affairs/Public Administration will be preferred.Work experience: Relevant experience will be preferred.Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
  • Good communication skills in English (both verbal & written)
  • Good computer knowledge in general and specifically in Microsoft Office products
  • Good sense of data mining/analysis and related systems
  • A person who is able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Should organize and manage several projects and/or activities simultaneously.
  • Can handle stress, challenging timelines and resources constraints.
  • An Amiable personality with good interpersonal skills.
  • Someone who is willing to take initiative, to listen, to learn and able to respond positively to challenges.
