Its teaching hospital, the Aga Khan University Hospital has been accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission International for achieving the highest international healthcare standards.Job Role / Responsibilities:Reporting to Director, Health Data Science Center, the position entails overall coordination of the Research Project. This involves managing daily operations as needed to include, but not limited to project and task management, team coordination, resource management, preparing, updating project documents, managing the financial and administrative aspects of the grant, preparing and monitoring budgets , ensuring compliance, communicating with collaborators and investigators and compilation of report, as well as working directly with internal and external stakeholders across the public health and data science arena.You will be responsible to:

• Implementation and supervision of research projects; assist supervisor in the development of research instruments for the projects according to their objectives
• Develops and tracks project milestones, deliverables, risks, action items and decisions, using appropriate tools
• Developing SOPs for project and administrative processes and procedures to facilitate standardized practices, hiring and training of resources as per project requirements
• Evaluating the performance of the team and giving feedback, conducting internal audits, ensuring quality and reporting to the Principal investigators with recommendations
• Collaborate with clinical leads, researchers, data scientists and engineers, IT, HR and Finance to ensure smooth running of projects? activities within the settings
• Working closely with the other internal and external collaborators, creating agendas, coordinating meetings and reporting progress to PI
• Managing the existing grants and strategically planning resources to ensure smooth running of research grants and contracts as well as managing the administrative aspect of various grants
• Prepare financial or budget plans and allocation along with the finance department in accordance with each requirement
• Assist supervisor in ensuring that the University is complying with all the grant agreements, budget and the agency requirements as agreed
• Completing IRB applications for research projects and writing of grant progress reports to the funding agencies
• Preparation and compilation of study progress
• Present the study results as per the requirement
• Any other task assigned by the principal investigator.

• MBBS/MPH/HPM/M.Sc. Masters in Epidemiology and Biostatics/Masters in Sociology or any other relevant field

• Certifications in data science, data analytics or health informatics would be an added advantage
• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience with a health care organization
• Prior project management experience is preferred
• Experience in healthcare analytics would be an added advantage
• Excellent planning, management, and coordination skills
• Good networking and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to conduct qualitative exploratory research
• Familiarity with healthcare data analytics
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to resolve issues independently.
• Demonstrated writing, editing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently.
