Its teaching hospital, the Aga Khan University Hospital has been accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission International forachieving the highest international healthcare standards.Job Role / Responsibilities:Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will beexpected to analyze, program, maintain and manage software applications and their development through all phases of system development life cycle. You will be responsible for handling university wide projects i.e AKU Global ERP operations and expansion, ERP Support and implementation within the University and all its affiliates in any country.Specifically, you will be responsible for;

• creatingand maintaining software applications and gain knowledge of the existing applications, both the technical and business aspects
• participatingin all phases of application development, i.e. study, analysis, design, development, and implementation
• developing excellent understanding and application of Data Modelling and Data Analysis Techniques
• learning Software Development Tools in use e.g. PeopleTools and People Code
• efficiently producingand maintaining requirements and application systems documentation
• participatingin quality assurance and testing of products
• preparingself-development plan in coordination with the immediate supervisor
• undertakingactivities for continuous professional development in line with the plan and keep abreast of latest developments in the profession
• operatingwithin practices and procedures for smooth functioning of all operational services as per quality standards
• liaisingwith others / Sections /Departments for delivery of the results
• working on special assignments given by the supervisor/manager

• a formal and recognized degree in Computer Science or related disciplines such as Bachelors or Master?s degree in Computer Science, MBA in MIS etc.
• candidate without formal recognized degrees possessing extensive experience in computer programming would also be eligible for this position
• 0 ? 2 years of related prior professional experience
• ability to understand and effectively use data modelling and analysis techniques
• ability to grasp, analyze and document business requirements with some level of independence
• Capability of providingsolutions and preparingmodification specifications independently
• ability to demonstrate new approaches and thinks before acting
• ability to break down concrete issues into parts and synthesizes succinctly along with collecting and analysing information from a variety of appropriate sources
• Experience to identifying client needs and expectations and responds to requests efficiently and effectively while takes action beyond explicit request within established service standards. Meeting client needs in a respectful, helpful and responsive manner and seek feedback to develop a clear understanding of client needs and outcomes
• ability to listen actively and objectively and present appropriate information in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing
• Making decisions based on pre-defined options using clear criteria/procedures
• ability to recognize and act on present issues as well as offer ideas to address current situations or issues. Able to work independently and complete assignments without constant supervision
• ability to complete tasks in accordance with plans and sets priorities for tasks in order of importance
• ability to set goals and works to meet established expectations and adapts working methods in order to achieve objectives
• ability to give support to co-workers and works collaboratively rather than competitively as well as share experiences, knowledge and best practices with team members.
