Job Description

Principal Backend Engineer is generally responsible for providing technical guidance to development teams and oversee the technical aspects of all projects to design and development of new or modified software products to ensure that the software meets the needs of end-users and achieves business goals.Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance, high availability, scalable software solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance in software design and development activities.
  • Improving the performance of existing software to be high available and scalable.
  • Provide support in all phases of software development life cycle and ensure to deliver high-quality products.
  • Work with other team members and support them to develop most effective technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Supervising and overseeing the technical aspects of projects.
  • Work with other team members in planning, prioritizing, estimation and executing assigned tasks within deadlines.
  • Assist in project planning and delivery.
  • Communicate project status when needed and discuss about new ideas and any issues.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation and design diagrams.
  • Mentor and coach senior/junior backend engineers.
  • Investigating software-related complaints and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance.
  • Recommending new technologies and practices that can help increase productivity.
